Our Story

Built to change what Thai creative talent can own.

Diva

Thailand has no shortage of creative talent. Its artists, illustrators, writers, and designers produce exceptional work — much of it as outsourced production for foreign studios. The chance to develop and own original IP has historically been difficult to access, not for lack of skill, but for lack of structure and support.

The World Engine was founded in 2022 to change that. Drawing on over a decade of production experience through KP Comics Studios, co-founders Paht Chanarat and Kokit Bandithsuwan built The World Engine as a dedicated IP development company that builds IP we believes in and shares it with the world on its own terms.

The World Engine also serves as a platform for creative teams across KP Comic Group to develop original IP they can genuinely call their own. The goal: give talented people the opportunity to build something that lasts.

Our Story

Built to change what Thai creative talent can own.

02.

We develop every IP from concept up — original characters, original worlds, original stories. Building from the ground up takes more time, but it is the only way to create something that can truly stand on its own.

Own what you build.

03.

Built to travel across formats.

From the earliest stage, we design IP to expand — from webtoon to screen, novel to game, character to merchandise. A story that only works in one format is a missed opportunity. We build with the full journey in mind.

01.

Stories that connect.

We build IP around stories that resonate — romance, tension, adventure, identity. We stay open to every style, genre, and creative direction. Stories find their audience because of how they feel, not where they were made.
